Located in an old bakery of the 19th century in the Historic Center of Palma de Mallorca, the design wanted to embody the tradition of the island and its craftmanship, such as the basketry, so present in bread baskets.
In the main dining room of the restaurant, we designed a wooden skin that unifies walls and ceiling, inspired in the art of weaving baskets. This “fabric” gradually fades at its ends, as a metaphor for a basket still in the process of being developed.
The result is a handmade surface that wraps the space generating a cozy atmosphere.
